At Park Senior Villas, we offer short-term stays – or respite care – for seniors for a variety of reasons. Respite care can range from several days to weeks. This type of short-term supportive care can be extremely helpful in all kinds of situations, including:

• For an individual who recently had surgery or a medical event, such as a heart attack or stroke, and needs care during the recovery and rehabilitation period
• For someone who needs a little assistance with daily activities when their family caregiver is out of town or not available for an extended period of time
• For a person living with Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia whose regular caregiver is unavailable for a few days or a couple of weeks
• For someone who is considering a longer-term stay in the community and wants to give it a trial run

Respite care can provide caregivers with a much-needed break from their caregiving responsibilities. Caregivers can use this time to address their own health and well-being, tend to other responsibilities, or simply relax and recharge.

In addition to our onsite programs, we bring in live entertainers and regularly schedule outings to popular restaurants, movie theaters, and local attractions.
