At Park Senior Villas, we have dedicated senior community homes designed for residents who have Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia or memory loss. Our memory care program focuses on getting to know each resident, their history, and the details of their lives so we can help create the most pleasant environment possible for them as individuals. Our clinical team is dedicated to maintaining the dignity and individuality of each resident who calls Park Senior Villas home. Capable Memory Care Services in Arizona
Park Senior Villas staff members are trained in what’s called The Mandt System®, a personalized care-based approach to memory support. This evidence-based dementia and behavior training program is based on the principle that all people have the right to be treated with dignity and respect. Springing from a foundation of three components – healthy relationships, healthy communication, and healthy conflict resolution – The Mandt training provides our caregivers the tools they need to build deep and comprehensive relationships with the individuals they care for. This makes it easier to recognize when a change in personality or behavior begins with your loved one, allowing us to redirect or change a care plan or approach. Should your loved one need care specific to behavioral issues, we’re ready to help.
Our general manager and director of dementia programming and training have their Dementia Specialist Certifications to ensure our team stays current with training. We develop a specialized dementia care plan for each resident that includes their history, preferences, hobbies, and ability level to develop care and social strategies for them.

One of the core components of the Park Senior Villas’ person-centered care is getting to know our residents living with dementia. No two people living with Alzheimer’s or other dementias experience it the same way, so we take the time to learn about a person’s life story and their interests to support them in our caring home-like environment.

Our memory care staff and leaders play an important role in helping to maximize our residents’ independence. We use an abilities-based approach to care, supporting residents in what they CAN DO, WILL DO, and MAY DO.

Memory care at Park Senior Villas is a supportive, secure setting designed for seniors living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia, with daily routines, engagement, and assistance tailored to cognitive needs.
Memory care adds specialized dementia-capable support, added supervision, and structured routines for cognitive change, while assisted living focuses more on help with activities of daily living for residents who do not need the same level of dementia-specific structure.
Our Chandler and Goodyear locations offer double occupancy, which can be a more budget-friendly option and may be preferred for some residents living with cognitive challenges.
The team considers several factors when determining the appropriate level of care, including safety concerns, wandering risk, medication management, changes in judgment, and the level of support or cueing needed for daily activities. From there, they help guide families to the best-fit care option within the Park Senior Villas continuum.
To further personalize care, staff utilize elbi, an artificial intelligence–powered mobile app designed to enhance engagement with residents living with dementia. The platform generates individualized recommendations based on each resident’s personal history, gathered through a comprehensive intake questionnaire completed by family members. As the technology has evolved, elbi now delivers increasingly detailed insights and has demonstrated an 87% effectiveness rate in helping de-escalate challenging behaviors.
